Knoxville Fashion Week was an amazing whir of beautiful models, exhilarating time crunches and ultra creative hair and makeup styling by Southern Belle Beauty. We had a hand in three separate events for the weekend and are excited to share some of our work.
Paulk&Co hosted the first event, Stuntin’ Like My Daddy, which featured a display of awesome paintings combined with models wearing fashions styled by The Vagabond Truck. For this show we did sleek ponytails for the hair, focusing the attention on the wild textures and colors of our theatrical face painting techniques. Our goal was for the models to mimic the bright, color pop artwork that was on display.
Event number two for us was a very cool runway show presented by Bula Boutique, a unique store located in downtown Knoxville which offers super stylish boho clothing and accessories direct from both the east and west coast. This intimate show was the launch of their new spring clothing line that left us dying to shop! We did natural, angelic makeup with a heavy glow to keep with the boho theme. Neutral eye shadows with a light shimmer, pale lips and a dewy highlight on the cheeks perfected the look for these glamorous models.
Every year Gage Talent Agency does an amazing job with Knoxville Fashion Week and the main event this time was no exception. Teams of hair stylists and MUA’s rushed to prep the massive number of models and groups of photographers were there to capture this collaboration of so many talented individuals who worked tirelessly to make it all happen. Here is a little of our behind the scenes experience!
All in all, it was a fabulous experience were so happy to be a part of!
